 For almost 70 years Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth and the Grand Rapids Police Department have been partnering to serve children when they need us most. This means after-school, during the summer and more. In 2007, Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth became affiliated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America. We are now part of the fastest youth growing organization in the United States.
 Our mission is to build the character of youth through recreation, education, and positive community experiences in cooperation with the Grand Rapids Police Department. We offer programs at two Boys & Girls Clubs in Grand Rapids; Steil Boys & Girls Club and Seidman Boys & Girls Club (see the "Locations" tab to the left for more Club specific information). Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth has also operated a residential summer camp for youth for more than 65 years. Camp O'Malley is located in SE Kent County and serves children throughout all of west Michigan.
 NEW!: Soon we will be adding tips on how parents and other youth development workers can learn ways to provide safe, positive and fun environments for children.
